Marilu Henner

Marilu Henner is an American actress, producer, radio host, singer, podcaster, and author. She began her career appearing in the original production of the Broadway musical Grease, before making her screen debut in the comedy-drama film Between the Lines. In 1977, Henner was cast in her breakthrough role as Elaine O’Connor Nardo in the ABC/NBC sitcom Taxi, a role she played and received five Golden Globe Award nominations. She later had co-starring roles in films such as Hammett , The Man Who Loved Women, Cannonball Run , Johnny Dangerously ,Rustlers’ Rhapsody, Ladykillers , L.A. Story and Noises Off. She returned to television with a starring role in the Burt Reynolds CBS sitcom Evening Shade and later had leading roles in many made-for-television movies. A talk-show hostess, theater, TV and film star Marilu’s latest venture is a major cabaret/variety show with musicians and dancers.
